A letter to my 12 year old self.
Dear 12 year old me,
I want to write to you and give you some advice. When your trying to do a 360 an a scooter stop yourself. This is because when you go have way through the 360, you will hit a rock, then you and the scooter will go flying in the air. You will soon look up and see the scooter about to hit your face. But instead of of the scooter hitting your face, the scooter will then hit your eye lid. then your mom and dad will yell at you. your mom will look at your eye and say to your dad" this cut is very deep she needs to go to the hospital. You'll be in the waiting room for about 2 minutes then you'll be seen by a doctor. you will get glue stitches, but youll be held down by 2 doctors and your eye lid will be held by one nurse and your doctor will put the glue stitches. This Is the advice that I want you to know before you hurt your self. I also want want to give you some encouragement. Don't be a loner. Try new things out like skate boarding or join the volley ball team when your in the 9th grade. I hope you have the best 12 year old life until you turn 13 years old.

i find how you give yourself advice about the scooter situation very useful. you give yourself a warning meaning that when this happened to you, it was something that you wish did not happen and something you will never forget. this blog post reminds me of all the accidents i got myself into when i was 11 & 12 and how i wish someone would have gave me advice and warned me about them before hand.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you had numerous details within your story. At the end, you encouraged yourself to try something new. I also like how your story can relate to others in many different ways. I had a similar story to yours when I was on a scooter.
